Not sure what to say?

GRANT GITTINS WAS CORRESPONDING WITH ME IN 1983 THROUGH 1990..HE WAS MY GUITAR TEACHER THROUGH THESE YEARS..I GOT IN TOUCH WITH HIM THROUGH A 1983 ISSUE OF GUITAR PLAYER MAGAZINE..HE WAS PROFILED IN THE "SPOTLIGHT" COLUMN...HE AND I SPOKE ON THE PHONE MANY TIMES DURING THE YEAR'S HE WAS CORRESPONDING WITH ME..HE WAS A BRILLIANT GUITARIST..AN EXTREMELY PATIENT PERSON...HE WAS LIKE A PART OF MY FAMILY...WE LOST TOUCH AFTER 1990. I AM EXTREMELY SORRY TO FIND OUT THAT HE HAS PASSED AWAY...LIFE...

Thinking of you this Christmas 2025. You were only 40 years old in this photo. We were in Dave Bunker's guitar store in Bothell and you had just discovered the touch guitar and bought this one. You were teaching yourself how to play it and it was challenging but you never gave up. Discipline and perseverance were part of your character that made you the outstanding guitarist you became.

Happy Birthday Grant. You would have been 64 years old today. Always missed. Always loved. Never forgotten. I love this photo of you. It reflects your mischievious sense of fun and humor.

A Memory: I had my wallet open at a store where I was making a purchase and the saleslady there thought it was a picture of David Lee Roth.

Still missing you and always will.

KZOK: Best of the Northwest 1983 Grant: guitar, keyboards, bass and vocals. Greg Miller on drums.

Thoughts of you at Christmas. Wishing you were here.
