Not sure what to say?

Grant...What a tremendous example he was to my wife and I. We lived in Boise for a short time from 1995 to 1999 where we had the honor of getting to know him. One Friday evening my wife and I and Grant and his date all decided to go see a "stand up comedy show" at a club downtown. The comedy become "off colored" very quickly. Grant leaned over to me and wispered into my ear, "Let's get out of here and go do something a little more uplifting." It was his courage that we all followed that...

I am deeply saddened by the loss of your family member. I was just a little boy when we lived near you. I am Ken and Vea Johnson's son, Rodney.

Monique and family, and Grow families, I was very sorry to hear of Grant's passing. Darn it, why do they always have to take the wonderful spirits so early?? He was and will definately be an inspiration to all he has been and will be in contact with. I went to high school with Grant. He always, was upbeat, and ALWAYS could make me laugh, smile and be happy, even on a bad day. I'm sorry that I did not learn of this earlier. I would have loved to join in the celebration of his life, and to...

Monique, I was so sorry to hear about Grant's passing. I found out today during General Conference. I wish I had known earlier so I could have been there for you. I am still here for you. I would love to see you and give you a big hug. I did not know Grant well, but I can tell by the wonderful wife he chose, that he must have been someone very special. I will remember you and your children in my prayers.

I didn't realize Grant had passed away until listening to conference this afternoon. I loved this man! We had so much fun in jr high and high school and I have followed him from near and afar, praying for his happiness and the ability to have the life he longed for. He is such an inspiration to me. So long, old friend.

Monique and Grow Family,

Monique, you may not even remember us, but we know and love your parents. We are so sorry for your loss. We didn't know Grant, but we send our love and prayers to you and the children. When the days and nights are difficult, remember more people than you can imagine are thinking of you. May the Lord bless you with the peace and comfort and strength you will need.

We pray that you will be comforted in this difficult time. It was a pleasure getting to know Monique and Grant in the Vista Ward. I ran into Grant last week. It was about 9am and his daughter was clutching to his hand. She was so excited because it was her birthday. The feeling between them on that special day touched my heart. We chatted for a while then went our way. Best wishes and love,
James and Rachael Moss.
