Grant Horton Obituary

Grant R. Horton Hammond, IN Grant R. Horton, age 57, of Hammond, passed away at home on Thursday, November 3, 2005. He is survived by his loving wife, Kathleen; daughter, Michelle (Jeff) Tuma on Minnesota; daughter, Amy (Kyle) Swims of Hobart; granddaughter, Samantha Tuma of Minnesota; two sisters: Denise Horton of Hammond and Adair Horton of Chesterton. He was preceded in death by his parents: James and Florence Horton; two brothers: Scott and Roger; son, Joshua Smith. A memorial visitation will be held on Sunday, November 6, 2005 from 2-6 pm with prayer services beginning at 5:30 pm at the Kuiper Funeral Home, 9039 Kleinman Rd. (2 blocks south of Ridge Rd.), Highland. Mr. Horton was a collision expert at Hazelcrest Autobody for over 10 years, and for many years was the sound man for Double Barrell and Fluid Motion. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.

Kathy I am so sorry to hear about Grant, it just really breaks my heart, he was a good person, and I know he went to a special place, maybe God and his angels needed a sound man. I know he will be missed by everybody. God will see you through this I know. Love you and praying for you and yours. Doris
