Not sure what to say?

My condolences.

My sincere condolences to the family, friends and fans of Pirates World Champion pitcher, Grant Jackson. Buck employed his "jive fastball" to great effect in game 7 of the 1979 World Series, holding Orioles batters hitless over nearly three innings and earning the win for Pittsburgh in the deciding game. I imagine by now #23 has been welcomed with open arms by Roberto, Wille, Manny, Dock and the "Family" in the Cornfield. Rest In Peace, Buck. You sure earned it.

Great pitcher, a smart man. Never met him, never knew him, but loved watching him do the job.

Thoughts and prayers to the Grant family, truly sorry for your loss.

My condolences to the Jackson Family on behalf of the Peters Family of Cleveland Ohio. My Dad Richard "Gene" Peters was so proud of his cousin's accomplishments. We share your loss with much love from Cleveland., Ohio.

I grew up in the Tri-County area playing baseball in the '60s & early 70s. He was the first MLB player we knew of from the local area, and we followed him closely. Prayers for the family in their time of loss, and we all lose a piece of our youth.

A talented and dedication baseball player that will be remembered and missed by many. My sincere condolences to the Jackson family, so very sorry for your loss. May give to you all the comfort and strength needed to carry you through this most difficult time.

My condolences go out to the family of Grant. He will be missed by family and sporting fans.
