Young men of Scouting age have a way of testing the limits of even the most patient of men, and while I sometimes saw him flustered - even flabbergasted - I never saw Grant lose his patience with the Scouts of Boy Scout Troop 30. It was my privilege to work with Grant and Chris States as an adult leader of the Fox Patrol where Grant's quiet and calm demeanor helped to balance the more brusque personalities of his co-leaders. I don't have many pictures of my cousin Grant, but I so appreciated Grant sharing family pictures and historical information with me so that I could complete my family project.
