Not sure what to say?

Oops. The trip was in NYC not Monte Carlo.

Grant was my mentor at Smith Barney during the 1980´s. As a stockbroker he had a unique approach working closely with investment bankers. He loved dealing with IPO´s. We and our wives traveled together on business awards trips. The best by far was going to Monte Carlo. I crewed for him in Knarr races on Wednesdays and Saturdays. I learned a lot from him both in business and pleasure. He was a class act. These days you don´t find many old school chaps like Grant. His family can be proud for...

Grant was truly one of a kind! We will never forget his Cadillac parked in front of the yacht club while he was eating at his personal table by the fireplace in the grill room. His love for everyone joining in water aerobics at Tinsley or dancing at his beloved Cinco de Mayo celebration. He was larger than life and knew how to have a good time. Grant will be missed.

Joni is my friend and has been for almost three decades. I knew Grant through Joni and found him to be a true gentleman and a first-class listener. I liked his enquiring mind. Seeing Grant and Joni interact together was a joy. My heart goes out to Joni for her loss.

Single Memorial Tree

Grant's license plate on his classic Cadillac convertible was "D LAST ONE", as was he: a classic Montgomery Street gentleman of the Old School. Will be remembered by us all. Ronald Pelosi, San Francisco

Grant was a most hospitable and caring gentleman who welcomed new and friends one and all. It was a great pleasure to know him and share his love of life and of the water. My heart is with Joni, Manon, Stacey, and Pilar. John Mounier San Francisco & Los Angeles
