Not sure what to say?

Sandra, I regret that I was out of town and missed the. service. I thoroughly enjoyed my time with Gray through the years, on the golf course as well as his periodic cruising in our neighborhood. Charley and I also enjoyed being with the two of you at our annual Christmas events. Our very best wishes to you as you go forward.

To Sandra and the Boyette family, Cathy and Bob Mills offer their deepest condolences. Gray was a wonderful member of the Wake Forest family.

Golf at Forsyth CC was 100 % better, and more fun, when Graybo was playing. He was absolutely, the best !!! A great loss for family and friends but Heaven´s gain.

At a time when we were hosting coaches luncheons we came up with the idea to have attendees fill out information cards that we placed on each table. Unfortunately, one of our newer staffers assigned to this task printed Wake Forrest a the top of the card. Gray was quite irritated at the misspelling and let us know if a very direct manner. Met Gray during a Wake baseball game where he would pick the brains of two of my friends, Mike Spencer and Kit. Gray was the ultimate Deac supporter and would share his thoughts on many aspects of baseball and how the Deacs could have handled a certain situation. A dapper gentleman, always the best dressed fan at a Wake event! We'll miss Gray!

Gray had an amazing, well-lived life! He will be missed by so many. We are thinking of you and your family.

I wish Sandra and the family peace and comfort during their period of mourning.

Gray was such a wonderful person. I Always worked forward to seeing him at Wake Forest sporting events. He would definitely be missed.

I worked at Bowman Gray School of Medicine many years ago and remember him while a student there. He was very friendly and very caring.
