Greer Fitting

What an interesting life she led! I went to P. S. 49 with Greer. We went through sixth grade together. Even then she was a free spirit - very creative, artistic and interested in music. I am sure she will be missed by many.

Celebrating a life well lived. We will cherish the memories forever.

Greer would call me every morning throughout my career with the Albany County Executive, and then on to my time as Deputy Commissioner of the Albany County Department of Human Resources and finally as Director of Programs and Services with the Department for Aging. I say this because I always looked forward to her phone calls. They suddenly stopped and now I found out why. God Bless you Greer,Give'em Hell in Heaven!!

Greer's presence will be greatly missed. She loved coming in and telling us what she needed to fix in this world. Such a passionate and kind woman. Your friends at Kate's Corner Deli

We are deeply saddened by the passing of Greer. She was a steady and faithful customer of Market Block Books. Our heartfelt sympathy to her family and friends. We will miss her very much.

My heart is heavy over the loss of such amazing woman, every time I press a piece of lace or doily into my clay I will think of you. I will miss your unexpected stops to the shop and gifts of repurposed items. My thoughts and prayers go out to your family.
