We live in our knowing of Greg everyday: Like he one described the Black Phoebe, he too was a gentle bird.

Linda, this was such sad news. Greg was a force of nature, and the two of you were a power couple of the natural world. The things you did and started will go on. I'm still in the house that Greg worked on in 1991. The Community Foundation, where we were early board members, is stronger than ever. Memories keep us going. My very best to you.

My sincere condolences, Linda. Though it´s been years since I´ve seen Greg, I knew him during my visits and working at Pinole Ranch. I recall first meeting you, Linda, when you both stopped by when I lived in Denver in early to mid `70s. My bother´s Doug and Bo have mentioned Greg over the years so I wasn´t totally disconnected.

Greg was a great friend of the environment and one of the most outspoken leaders in our community of advocates for the integrity of our natural world. He lived his values, and served as an inspiration for all who knew him. The planet needs more people like Greg, and we were fortunate that he shared it with us for the time that we could be with him.
