Greg Rogan

On Saturday, April 24, 2010, Greg Rogan Sr., our beloved son, father, brother, and uncle, was welcomed into God's grace and the Kingdom of Heaven.

Born on September 25, 1969, Greg was preceded in death by his father, John T. Rogan III.

He leaves behind his beloved son, Greg Rogan Jr., whom he cherished; mother, Marge Rogan; a sister, Karen O'Neil and her husband Dr. Tim O'Neil; a brother, John and his wife, Ginny.

Greg's greatest pleasure was spending time with his family. He was a spirited competitor who loved playing and watching sports. He especially enjoyed attending his nieces' and nephews' games.

Greg lived his life with great kindness and compassion for others. He often expressed his appreciation for all God's gifts. He will be sincerely missed, but we are comforted by many special memories and the faith he is now at peace with our Father.

A visitation will be at The Church of the Incarnation, 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 28, 2010. A Mass of the Resurrection will follow at 7:30 p.m. A graveside service will be held 11:30 a.m. Thursday, April 29, 2010, at Monticello Memory Gardens.

Friends may send condolences to the family at www.hillandwood.com.

Not sure what to say?

Greg carried a burden none of us will know. This is a testament to the true strength of the man. As much as he showed his physical strength, we all know now his mental and spritual strength were his stronger assets. He served his country, his family, and his friends.

My friend Greg stands on the tee now, looking out onto the greenest of fairways in Heaven.

I wish I had been able to see him in this lifetime one last time. I know he sees me here and I know I will see...

My deepest, most heartfelt sympathies to the entire family. Greg had a special light that will shine on in our hearts. May all of you find peace in his memories and know he's forever alive in the many people his life has touched, including mine.
Rest in Peace, Greg. You're missed already!

I had know Greg since childhood when we all would hang out after school. He was a fun person to be around and so full of laughter. My thoughts and prayers goes out the Rogan family. May God give you the strength to get through these difficult days ahead.

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this difficult time.

I also have known Greg since childhood and remember playing many basketball games in the driveway together. Deepest sympathies to the Rogan family.

My childhood memories of Greg always have and always will be a huge part of my life. Many a basketball game and a lot of afterschool fun was shared with him. I can hear the his laughter and see his genuine smile in my mind. I treasure these memories and I am very sorry for the families loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Dear Aunt Margie, Karen, John, and Greg Jr.,

I am so sorry for your loss. I know Greg fought a hard battle and I truly believe he is at peace now.
I pray for you all that you can find some way to understand why the lord does the things he does. I know I don't always; but I do give way to believing that through these kinds of struggles a greater purpose is served. What that may be I am sure I will never know while still here on earth.
Aunt Margie please...

Thinking of you and remembering all the good times in the neighborhood with Greg. You are in our thoughts and prayers. Allison (Shand) and Kyle Reaves and The Shand Family

So many things to say. I knew Greg as a young person. We hung out many an afternoon at Joey's house playing basketball. Looking back I feel blessed to have known Greg. A friend that was always there for you...Never let his friends down. Please know we hold your family in our thoughts and prayers now...its what Greg would have expected from us.
