Not sure what to say?

Dear Mrs. Balton and family: Well, Gregg must be in Heaven, thinking about our friendship--because just two days ago, I was recommending Saratoga hotels to a friend, and I told her that the Gideon Putnam was magnificent--but that it's not the same since Gregg Balton was at the helm. Gregg brought so many wonderful, historically-correct changes to the hotel. He brought joy and kindness through that front door every day that he entered the building. And those of us who knew him as a friend...

May the Peace of the Lord be always with you, dear Sarah, Jack and Olivia. Gregg is a beloved friend, and he lives in Heaven with the Lord. We must not refer to him in the past-tense, because, while his body gave out--Gregg is alive. That spirit that made us laugh and cry; that intelligence that forced us to truly think--he is eternal, with the Lord. Please find comfort in that Truth, Sarah. God bless you, today and always.
Love,
