Gregory Thomas Amend

Mr. Amend was my first boss. He hired me to do manual labor on his farms in Liberty Township on Saturdays when I was 13. I´m grateful for the opportunities he gave me to experience doing hard work and the time he took to teach me how to do tasks few boys in the suburbs ever get the chance to learn how to do. Oh, my goodness. I was not aware that Greg had passed. I just found out Greg is no longer with us when a check came in the mail this week in memory of Greg Amend. I met Greg with Brother Scott OFM here at Friars many years ago. We shared Friars good work and Greg discussed how when he slowed down in his work, he would love to become more involved with us.
