Not sure what to say?

He was a man among men.....all his accomplishments out shine most of us normal men who can only hope to
one day be compared to him.....a natural leader.
I loved him as the brother I never had....wish we could have got back together before his passing.
God bless him, and his family.

I still remember what a great leader he was.

he was very special....it was evident even as a teenager in St Albans WV....I loved him as a brother.
God bless him..RIP old friend.

Greg was my best friend for over 60 years. I think of him often, as well as Eli and his family.

On behalf of the fourth corp Mike Force There isnt a member who will ever forget Greg. He was always there when you needed him and you could always count on him to help you get what ever you needed. May God Bless his family and May he Rest In Peace.

In the early 90s MG Barlow was gracious enough to grant me an interview for the "Evergreen" magazine of the WA Army & Air National Guard, where I discovered he was a leader filled with empathy for those he commanded, and inspired us all to excellence in performing our duties. He shared his deep wisdom generously and set an outstanding example to follow. He had few peers, and was loved by his troops. May he rejoice in heaven forever.

Greg attended Charleston Catholic High School in Charleston WV but did not graduate with our class in 1957. At class reunions, we often talked about his accomplishments and what a great guy he was. We are so sorry to hear of his passing. We will keep Greg and the family in our thoughts and prayers.
