He was preceded in death by his father, Landon Elliott Jr. He leaves to cherish his memory a daughter, Shanea McLaurin; two sons, Gregory and Kenneth McLaurin; his mother, Jacquelyn Billups-Brown (Benjamin); three sisters, Deborah Horton (Charles), Vanessa Green (Larry) and Terri Elliott; grandmother, Nannie Curtis; a loving and devoted friend, LaWanda McLaurin; a host of other relatives and friends. Remains rest at March Funeral Home, 2110 E. Laburnum Ave., where viewing will be held Friday, January 14, from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Funeral service 12 noon Saturday, January 15, 2011 at Trinity Baptist Church, 2811 Fendall Ave. Rev. Dr. A. Lincoln James Jr. officiating. Interment Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
