Not sure what to say?

Greg and I were in the same career course small group together. We´d hangout and watch basketball and just enjoy laughs. I was astonished at his basketball shoe collection. He was genuine, caring and approached stress with humor. By the looks of the comments on here, he impacted many. He´ll be missed by many. My condolences to his family and friends.

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow. From the Sunrun family.

I´m so sorry to learn of Greg´s passing. We attended a school together as 2LTs and then seemed to follow each other in assignments. Greg was a great person. He always knew how to light up the room and help anyone who needed it. He will be greatly missed.

Tim we are so sorry for your loss. It´s horrible to lose a son. Ann, Michael and Matthew, our sympathy and prayers are with the entire Black family. Bob and Juanita loved their grandsons, and were proud of them. I remember her buying all 3 of you giant chocolate bunnies for Easter.

I am so shocked to learn about Greg. We were in 4-2 together. I have so many fond memories of him when we were on staff together and then taking commands at similar times -the "separates" companies. It seems like yesterday we were laughing in a meeting or going on another TDY getting ready to head to Afghanistan. I am so sorry for your loss. Know that he was loved by so many and he brought so much joy to those around him. We will miss him!

MaryAnn and David,. Thinking of you both, and others as you mourn for such a young life but a life well-lived in many regards. Too soon however, no doubt. Hugs to you both.

I am sorry for your loss. He was a great classmate. I wish I had the chance to know him better.

Our sympathy goes out to Greg´s father Tim Black (Roger´s cousin) for the loss of his son. Also to the rest of his family, a life gone too soon.

Words cannot express how sorry I am for your loss. I remember him as the fellow Platoon Leader who did not take himself too seriously and was always ready with something to make you laugh. A great leader who cared for everyone around him. You will be missed, go in peace. ATW
