Greg was always an absolute gentleman, and you always knew he was a Christian. We went through Judge Haynes together, and I admit, I had a terrible crush on him in about 5th grade. He was told to put a sentence on the blackboard in Mrs. Lewis's 5th grade -- and show how to diagram the sentence. He wrote "Jesus wept." That was Greg.

We are so sorry for the entire family of Greg. I grew up in the same church and have many happy memories of youth group camping trips, parties at the Bowen barn, trips to Milligan in college, and occasionally seeing Greg at Portland over these last many years. It's hard to lose loved ones so young, but we're sure of his reward and are proud to have known him and of his dedication to Christ and His church.

Alison and family. I was so sorry too hear of Greg's passing. He was my friend and gave me support and counseling on many occasions. He was in my thoughts and prayers constantly. One day when he was outside painting the stripes on the church parking lot...in that blazing sun and I was having a bad day, he hugged me and said I love ya Butch....need I say more. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. God Bless!
