I worked with Greg at Havelock Shops in the early years of my railroad career before leaving for a full time union position. One of my and Nancy's fondest memories is when Greg and his family moved from Lincoln to his farm in Waverly. Greg and I were moving a very, very old piece of furniture into his new home and a top piece broke off. Mary was very gracious and forgave us. Greg was a great friend and our family had some good times together. He loved his wife, children and grandchildren...

I worked in the BN Havelock Fab Shop with Greg. He was friendly, safe, dependable and a hard-working man. He also had a great sense of humor.
Greg is being missed.
