Not sure what to say?

Greg was one of a kind and will be greatly missed. When I first met him he just started up a conversation, as if we had always known each other. And I feel confident that was his way with everyone. Whenever Jerry was playing anywhere all he had to do was pick up the phone and call Greg with whatever problem and Greg would be there in little time. I always enjoyed seeing his latest electronic gadget discovery, which he would demonstrate with pride. I will have the family in my prayers.

So sorry to know this. Carl Cates helped me in so many ways growing up as a musician. Later Greg and Jeff both became good friends of mine in their music store. Prayers for family ...

Our deepest condolences to the family. I wanted to share this photo of Greg with you. This was our "motley crew" back in the 1980´s. We were proud to call him our friend!

I knew both Greg and his brother Jeff fairly well when we were in high school together. Several times over the years I intended to stop by the music store when I was in town but never seemed to have the time for it. I seriously regret that. My sincerest condolences to their mother and their families. - Bill Hunt, Cincinnati OH.

We will all miss Greg who was a colorful and generous soul.Robert and I adored his sense of humor. My deepest sympathies go to his family.

It might be the way they tell a story, repair something broken, or approach challenges with wisdom and grace. Greg was one of those rare souls. I was always in awe of how he made the best of any situation. When you shared a concern with Greg, it became his concern too. In those moments, you knew you weren´t...

Ive known Greg since 1st grade. He was one of the good guys. I am so sorry to hear about him passing. I had no idea he had been sick. All of his family are in my thoughts and prayers.
