Not sure what to say?

My dearest friend, how grateful I am to still hear your voice in my heart. May peace be with all.

The success of Greg's life lay in his willingness to begin again, striving to be a better version of himself each day. He was of generous heart and courageous spirit, deserving of our love and remembrance. I love you now, dear friend, as I have always and will always. Your loving care is never far from my heart and I am ever grateful.

Greg Cotton was a friend always. He was a shoulder to cry on, an ear to listen, a voice of reason, and he was one who had a way with words that would heal all ills. In the brief time we worked together, and things would go awry, we would look at one another and simply state, "Life happens", and then we'd move right along with our day. I will always cherish our friendship. Derek, and family, remember that earth has no pain that heaven cannot heal.

Greg was one of my best friends in high school - transplants from Kansas. Our families also shared the bond of friendship through church and band parents. He was my band "king" . I will cherish those memories. My condolences to your family.

Such sad news... We were friends in high school and I' m sure his friends in Dallas loved him as much!

This is very sad. For those of us who knew him from high school, band, school plays, and enjoyed his sweet spirit, his upbeat personality, his sillines, and his positivity....,. he will be very missed. Even with much time and space, you don't forget someone like Greg Cotton! A lot of the happy memories I have from high school include Greg and his radiant smile. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and his friends. :-(

Be at peace my friend. You were my very first piano student in 1966. You were a joy to work with and you inspired me to reach for the stars when it came to music. I feel blessed that we communicated about my marrage in June. My sympathies to Derek and your family. May they find peace in all of the beautiful memories you left us all.

Rest in peace friend.

I am so so sorry to hear about Greg's passing. We were friends in High School. We emailed occasionally about getting together but it never happened. I'm so very sad.
