Gregory Lamar Daniels Jr.

Gregory Lamar Daniels, Jr. of 83 Victoria Springs Drive, departed this life on Monday, May 2, 2011. Born in Asheville, he was a son of Tokisha M. Ingram of Flat Rock and Gregory Daniels, Sr. of Asheville. "Greg" was a 9th grade student at Hendersonville High School where he played football. He was a member of New Life, Inc. Baptist Church. Surviving in addition to his parents are his maternal grandparents, Cassandra Ingram and Renaldo McKenzie; paternal grandmother, Yvonne Daniels; sister, Shanice Ingram; step sister, Brittney Baird; aunts, Angela Avery, Sonja Blanton, Geraldine Daniels and Yvonne Daniels Brown; uncles, Odies Ingram, Jr. Darris Ingram, Michael Avery, Lee Roy Daniels, Kevin P. Bruton and Donald D. Daniels; other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Lee Roy Bruton. Services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. in First Baptist Church. Dr. Ryan Pack will officiate, burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the residence. Arrangements are under the direction of Hart Funeral Service.
