Gregory Allen Furr

In 1966 the size and strength of Gregg combined with the shooting of Bobby led the Penn Street Elementary school basketball to a championship (I think) well we did win a lot of games. One practice coach has us hang on his arms to see if Greg could catch the ball keeping his arms high and score. He scored regardless of us except when we tickled him. Bobbi was swished a half court shot when time was running out. The Furr brothers lived for "game time"! Greg was a gentle giant. Adios Amigos.

To the family of Greg Furr I send my heartfelt condolences to you. I had the pleasure of working with Greg before I retired. He was always so very kind and helpful. He always carried an ample supply of Wether´s candy that he was happy to share RIP Greg.
