Not sure what to say?

Dear Carla, we were so saddened to hear of Greg's passing, he was a kind and thoughtful man that always went out of his way to say a friendly hello to us when visiting our daughter. Our hearts and prayers go out to you and your family during this difficult time. Tony and Diane Gomes

Carla and Family, I am so sorry to hear of Greg´s passing. He was a wonderful and kind man that always had a smile on his face anytime I saw him when I was at my parents house. He will be greatly missed for sure. May your happy memories give you peace and comfort during this challenging time.

Half of the iconic Garnes and Barnes 10th grade duo. Thank you for making 10th grade Social Studies fun and for not kicking Shira and I out of class for saying the Boer war was memorable because it rhymed. Rest in Peace Mr. Garnes.

Mrs. Garnes and Family, Our most sincere condolences to you on Greg's passing. He was admired and respected by both colleagues and students at Central High. He will be missed. Lori and Richard Stoddard Venice, FL

Carla and family, I´m so sorry to hear about Greg. He was such a lovely and gregarious person and I was always happy to see him at ELHS. Big hugs to you.

Dear Mrs. Garnes & family, I am incredibly sorry for your loss, and I keep you all in my prayers during this difficult time. Mr. Garnes was such a kind soul, and I will always remember him for his smile. Whenever we'd bump into each other in the halls of ELHS or at the 4 PM mass at St. Michael's, he'd take the time to chat and get to know his students. I consider myself so fortunate to have known him. May he rest in peace. - John

You were a truly kind human being and you will be greatly missed by many!! With all the love in the world... Eric D.
