even with years of separation & thousands of miles between us it was still hard to know that Lee had passed on to his next journey. I know that he is in a better place, one that I hope to see him in many years from now. I'm grateful that I had a chance to know Lee & will remember him for the rest of my life.

Eight hours before Lee died he was making sure that his great grandson, Gabriel would have a comfortable place to sleep and that he would have plenty of water to drink, upon his arrival. I assured him that we had a crib and he would not be thirsty.
Lee tried hard to live to see the child but he could not.
He fought a hard and long fight against cancer. He died with dignity in his own bed, he marched into death knowing the Son of our Father was with him.

A cute tender hearted middle-born brother...

I would like to have known you longer Lee. Our time together was just too short.
