Juan Jose "Johnny" Rendon Sr.

My condolences to Mrs. Rendon the family and loved ones. It is with sadness that I am just learning of this news. Mr. Rendon was well respected in the Laredo community and in our hearts. I was a student of his in his Karate classes located first in the old Air Force base. Then at his other location which was shared with Sylvis Zuniga. He was excellent mentor that taught us loyalty and respect to all of us. He will be greatly missed!!

On behalf of the Martinez family, I would like to express my condolences on the passing of Mr. Rendon. He was always a man that demanded respect, was a role model to many, and a leader of the community he served for many years. May you find some comfort in knowing that he is now with the Lord in his Kingdom. May he rest in peace.

Had the pleasure of knowing Johnny. Served together in the fire department and as city council members. See you later my friend in the fire station in heaven. RIP
