I was a close friend of Greg in the late 60's and early 70's, when he lived on the NW side of GR. We hung out a lot at Buffalo Stop on Leonard street. I recall the day, his mother bought him his first drum set. He was probably 14-15 at the time. He played "In-a-gadda-da-vida" by Iron Butterfly non-stop. Rest in peace, my friend.
