Sisco Funeral Home, Inc. - Pea Ridge Obituary

Gregory Keith Tibbetts was born in Oregon and passed away suddenly on May 26, 2024 at the age of 64.

Greg is survived by his beloved wife, Zina Tibbetts of Garfield, Arkansas, daughter Shonna Tibbetts, son in law, James Johnson, granddaughters, Tiana Jones and Jamie Johnson of Kansas. Greg has many friends but had a special bond with his closest friends Ray Raney and Richard Celli and the countless people of the Raider Nation. Ray and Richard could tell you stories about Greg that would fill hours with laughter and memories that only the closest friends can have.

Greg was a proud veteran who proudly served our country in the Marine Corps for eight years. After the Marines, Greg settled in Fairfield, CA. where he graduated from trade school as a journeyman sheet metal worker and worked throughout the Bay area for thirty years. Greg possessed a rare combination of talent and skill. He took pride in his work and shared his many talents with friends and family, his spirit will live on in our memory of him and the projects he helped bring to life.

Throughout his time in California, Greg was an avid Oakland Raiders fan where he made countless lifelong friends as a season ticket holder in the infamous Black Hole.

In 2022, Greg moved to Garfield, Arkansas where he looked forward to enjoying his retirement years with his wife Zina. In Garfield, Greg and Zina discovered a new community and sanctuary doing the things they loved most, fishing, hunting and looking for the next waterfall. Being in the outdoors and working on numerous projects and hobbies together is what brought him joy.

Greg was loved by countless people and his willingness to lend a hand to both friends and family knew no limits. His kindness, generosity and humor will truly be missed by all that knew and loved him. A celebration of life for Greg will be held in California at a date to be determined later. Let us come together and remember Greg’s life and the profound impact he had on all fortunate enough to have called him a friend.
