Gregory Albert Law Jr. was born in San Jose, California, on December 12, 1991, to Gregory Sr. and Ola Law. He was the youngest of two children and was lovingly welcomed by his older sister Julieann, who eagerly awaited his arrival.
He was raised in Milpitas, California, where at an early age he found and accepted the Lord into his life. Gregory attended Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church, often alongside his grandparents, Deacon Richard Sr. and Mable Mayes, his great-grandmother Mary Ann Saulsberry, and sister Julieann. It was there that he made the heartfelt decision to dedicate his life to Christ through water baptism.
In 1998, his family relocated to Antioch, California. Gregory attended Diablo Vista Elementary, Dallas Ranch Middle, and Deer Valley High School, where he graduated in 2010. After high school, he enrolled in Diablo Valley College before transferring to Heald College to pursue a degree in Business Administration, which he continued until the college’s abrupt closure in 2015.
As a result, Gregory chose to focus on building a strong work ethic. He held various positions in both the grocery and warehouse industries, often juggling two jobs at once. Over time, he realized that he preferred the warehouse industry and spent the past 5 years dedicated to that field until his untimely passing.Although his time here was brief, Gregory left a lasting impression on everyone he met. People who knew and loved him remember him as caring, free-spirited, loving, and outspoken. He had a smile that could light up the room, and above all, he was effortlessly funny. As many have said, “When you think of Gregory, all you can do is smile.” He was unapologetically himself, and his memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved him.
Celebration of life will be held on Monday, August 4, 2025, at 1:00pm at the Pittsburg Funeral Chapel.
