Not sure what to say?

Greg was my pen pal for years and helped me through difficult times and wars. Greg's sincere kind and caring demeanor put me at ease.

My daughter was googling my name Gregg Mace and articles writing on Greg's first heart attack popped up. All three daughters emailed my wife (their mom) in a panic.

To make amends and feeling silly for upsetting my wife, my daughters had Gregg Mace sewed above both the front pockets of two teddy bears in authentic regulation Army...

THANK YOU, Gregg for being the Best Sportscaster in PA.
I always enjoyed watching you on TV.

You were a pleasure to watch.
My condolences to your family.
I will always will remember you.
With Deepest Sympathy,
Vicki Lego

Caroline, I am so sorry for your loss. By any measure, he was respected and loved by many. I enjoyed your anecdotes about Greg while we worked together at PHMC. Gloria Schleicher

I was a huge fan of Gregg's. When I was young I decided to call him after the news went off the air. I called and talked to him for years. He also sent me programs from Penn State bowl games. I am very heartbroken that he is gone. I will truly miss this great man. I love Gregg as a true friend. We lost a legend.

Caroline,
Though I didnt know Greg, by all accounts he was a very fine person who will be missed by many, most of all by you and your family.
You have my deepest sympathy and prayers that you may find peace in his loss and joy for his life.
Jeff

Always remembered as a first class sports announcer. Never forget the epic 1 vs. 2 basketball pick up game at Carlisle HS with Greg and John Repetz playing against Carlisle's Jeff Lebo back in 1984. He was not only an excellent sportscaster who put everything into covering sports in Central Pennsylvania, he was a great friend to all who got to know him. He will be sadly missed by all he touched in the world through sports in such a classy way. My condolences to his family and all the people...

It has been many years since I lived in the area. I was never much of a viewer of sports news on TV except when watching him. He was like watching a friend, a genuine compassionate friend without pretenses. The many intervening years did not diminish my memory of him. A special person.

My deepest condolences to the family.
