GREGORY JAMES MANOCK

Greg passed away on Monday, January 30, 2012. He was a 1975 graduate of Bullard High School and attended California State University, Fresno. He was a kind and compassionate man who loved his extended family and close circle of friends. Greg was a faithful man and he was heavily influenced by his grandparents Marko and Kate Pavlovich of Biola and Shirley "Pop" and Laura Manock of Fresno. For much of his life Greg loved playing golf and skiing. He worked during his early adult life at Foodland Supermarkets in Fresno before he moved to Modesto where he lived and worked for 15 years. Greg loved to work and to interact with people. To Greg, strangers were friends he just hadn't met before. He is predeceased by his mother and father, Millie and Jim Manock of Fresno. Greg is survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Marcia and Peter Herrmann of Modesto; his nephew, Timothy Herrmann of New York, NY; and Leslie Herrmann of Scottsdale, Az. A Funeral Service will be held at St. Peter's Serbian Orthodox Church on First Avenue in Fresno on Friday, February 3, 2012, at 11:30 a.m. Donations in memory of Greg may be made to St. Peter's Church, 3502 N 1st St. Fresno, California 93726.
