Not sure what to say?

I have so many memories of Greg. A few stick out in my mind that resonate with me even in my 40s. Amongst my favorites are the piggy back rides up alpine terrace after school. The ferocious thumb war battles we got into, usually ending with him winning and if I DID win, he could never handle losing to me. Greg was always a comfort to me, a friend who I could truly talk to about anything. He always made me feel seen, and his hugs were always the best. I remember one year I went to visit him in...

Thinking about you on the eve of what would have been your 40th birthday. It´s been ten years and I still don´t know how to process your absence. I remember us planning and celebrating our birthdays together for many years. You wrote the most incredible cards. Most that I still have. Who was this 17/18/19 year old man writing such brilliant poetry and prose?! You´ll always be known for how brilliant you were because it was impossible to ignore how smart and successful you were, but what...

I did not know Greg but I learned of his story and met his wonderful family in my own time of need. I will forever be grateful to Karen for reaching out to me after we lost our son Kevin. She comforted me those first unbearable days, weeks and months of grief. Sending hugs to the Miday's as we remember Greg's exceptional life and legacy.

My entire childhood was spent as a neighbor to Gregory and the Miday family. I don’t have many memories of my youth that they were not a part of. Although I moved away from the area and have not visited in a long time those years still feel so close to me. The world lost a wonderful and intelligent person and you will be remembered.

Greg - Your family and friends on earth miss you tremendously. I would like to think you are having a good time with our relatives up there in heaven with you. Our loss is their gain. When I see the hospital residents and physicians through my work, I often think of you. Rest easy.

Thinking of the entire Miday family. With gratitude for your courage in sharing Greg's story in the film.

Remembering you, today and always.
