Condolences to the Parris family and friends. I'm Edith's cousin her auntie Albertha Brown's daughter. I was reading a beautiful card I received from Edith after the death of my only child. We have loss so many loved ones, but knowing that our Savior Jesus Christ died so we can live again bring much hope. All of us will meet on the new earth with a new heaven that our true God created.

Dear Parris Family and Congregation, One Sunday morning, many years ago, I was flipping through the channels and came across Bishop Parris. To say he captured my attention with his spirituality, his obvious ability to relate, and his charisma would be putting it mildly. I watched many more time over the years and it always seemed that he was talking to me. Awesome uncle much love will be miss mae

Such a blessing to us in 2009 when my wife had H1N1 flu and pneumonia. He was there for us in a very special way at a very critical time. His prayers emails and care for us was really a blessing. I am sure he has been a blessing to MANY! May his dear family know that he is still in their future and waiting for them in heaven.
