Gregory Lee Sears

Gregory Lee Sears age 54 of Burr Oak, Michigan passed away Tuesday morning December 18, 2012 at the Bronson Methodist Hospital in Kalamazoo, Michigan. He was born June 14, 1958 in Tyndall Air Force Base, Florida son of John and Janice (Westphal) Sears. Greg resided in the Sturgis and Burr Oak area most of his life. He was currently employed by Parma Tube in Sturgis and also had worked at Michiana Laminating in Howe, Indiana. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing his guitar and loved his dog, Tubby. Greg is survived by his parents, John and Janice Sears of White Cloud; two sisters: Tammy (Bruce) Waldron of Burr Oak and Alice Hill of Burr Oak; two brothers: Kevin (Tina) Sears of Edmonton, Kentucky and Rev. John (Shirley) Sears of Warm Springs, Oregon and many nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews. He was preceded in death by one sister: Peggy Sears, August 25, 2012. In accordance with his wishes cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation or services. The Hackman Family Funeral Homes – Hackman Chapel, 114 S.
