Not sure what to say?

I've been away from home for more than 20 years now. When I do think of home some of my best memories are at the baseball field with our dads. I will always remember that Greg was one of the best and I'm forever thankful for the memories we have with them and the lessons we learned from them.

One of the best baseball dad's there was. Some of my best baseball memories involve Mr. Shantery.

I knew Greg when he was first learning to skate at Woodland Hills Ice Rink in the 50's and 60's in the Buckeye Area. Sorry for your loss! He was the best skater there!

So sorry for your loss. Greg was a great man and a great neighbor while our kids were growing up in Euclid years ago.
So many memories over the years. God Bless.

Rich Fredrick and Family

Our sympathy and condolences to the Shantery family. Greg was very instrumental in promoting the sport of hockey. We appreciated his assistance in our program.

Wooster Oilers Junior Hockey

Scott, my thoughts are prayers are with you and your family during this time. It was your dad who first saw me at an open skate when I was in 4th grade, and asked if I'd like to play hockey. He introduced me to a couple guys, recommended some gear, and even gave me a VHS tape on how to play the game. From that moment, and throughout our time with the Jr. Lumberjacks, he was always there. I can't think of very many great hockey memories that your dad was not somehow a part of. I don't think I...

God bless the Shantery family.
Greg made Euclid baseball very special.
Will never forget the memories.

GOD bless Greg, R.I.P., and his Family....
Amen...

Very sad to hear of Greg passing. I have nothing but great memories of Greg and your family through Euclid baseball. Watching Scott, John Rogers and my son Jamie was the BEST. Love and Prayers.
