Gregory Smits

In the 29 years that I shared with Gregory at Herman Miller, to me he wasn't Gregory at all. He wasn't even Greg. To all of us at work he was Smitty. Early on I knew him as a muscular guy with two daughters he was proud of, he often could be seen brushing his long hair that ended at mid back, and he had an infectious laugh that was easy to coax out. Greg was a great man. Everyone who has been around him will definitely miss him. My condolences to his family. I'll never forget this man. Especially the first time we met.
