Wilson Funeral Home - Tampa Obituary

     Funeral service for Mr. Gregory Arnel Underwood who passed on February 11, 2025, will be held on Saturday, February 22, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at Heaven Destiny Assembly of God, 4101 E. Ellicott Street, Tampa, Florida with Rev. Tom Jones, Officiating.  Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery, 4615 E. Hanna Avenue, Tampa, Florida.


     Mr. Gregory Underwood was born June 4, 1964, to the parentage of Elder Arthur Lee and Annie Underwood in Tampa, Florida.  He was a Foreman at the shipping yard for 34 years, prior to his passing.  Mr. Underwood was an awesome provider, father and a great friend.  He enjoyed spending time with his family and watching his favorite football team the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.


   He was preceded in death by his parents, Elder Arthur Lee and Annie Underwood; brothers, Arthur Lee, Jr., Curtis Underwood and Danny Daily, Sr.; sister, Precious Underwood and son, Tyrone Williams.


     Mr. Underwood leaves to cherish memories of him with his fiancée, Norma Pierce; Sophia Underwood; daughters, Tiffany Hayes (Leroy), Adrianna Underwood, Tamara Underwood, Myra Underwood, Tynesia, Tiara, Tyliara and Jerminique; sons, Donta Underwood, Craig Underwood, Gregory Underwod (Peaches), Demetrius Underwood, Derrick Underwood (Unique), Karl and Varsity Underwood; a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren; sisters, Shirlee Anderson (Jerotha), Mary Colon (Idelias) and Yolanda Minor (Vinchinso); brothers, John L. Dennis, Darryl Underwood, Daniel Underwood (significant other, Lillian) and Darin Underwood (Lisa); a host of nieces and nephews; sisters-in-law, Sandra Daily, Priscilla Underwood and other relatives and friends.  There will be a viewing on Friday February 21, 2025, from 3:00- 8:00 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home, 3000 N. 29th Street, Tampa, Florida.
