Not sure what to say?

I am heartbroken to hear of Greg's passing -- he was such a kind man who so clearly had a heart of gold. I send all my love to Kathleen, Abby, Zach, Declan, and the rest of your family during this unspeakably difficult time. I know that you all will carry him with you throughout your lives.

Our interaction with Greg was much too limited. He was both an expert in his professional area and also displayed a kindness, and a genuine interest in people that infused our discussions. He will be missed.

The last time we were with Greg he cuddled our brand new baby granddaughter for an hour. No small feat, as she won't let anyone but mommy hold her for more than a minute, before objecting, loudly! But baby Elsie knew a special man when she found one. And indeed, Greg was very special. With love and tears. Greg and Marie Greunke

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

Greg was so lovable and I was touched by his loving ways with you Kathleen, Abby, Zach and Declan and his dear friends. Such a good good man. Always, Sandy Brady

My daughter and I went to a Duck/Stanford game with our friends Liz and Dan one year, and met Greg and his son Zachary, then again at Liz and Dans wedding...So fun to see a child have the same excitement for the ducks as his dad! Greg was so nice and welcoming and fun to be around! So sorry for your loss, we are sending many prayers and much love to his wife, kids, family and friends

I am stunned and saddened by the loss of someone so incredibly sweet and wonderful as he was. I had the privilege to coach Greg for three years at Acalanes. He also ran cross country for conditioning for his first love, basketball! Greg was a natural leader and was so disarming, everyone loved and respected him. Greg will be missed by those in his present life and those whom he touched on his way up. My heart and love go out to all of his family members.

Such unimaginable sadness at the loss of such a beautiful and loving person. Terry and I send our deepest sympathies to our dearest Kathleen and the children Abby, Zach and Declan; to Greg's family Jim, Jane, Kathleen; to Tassie and all the family and friends who are so grieved by this terrible and sudden loss. He will always be remembered.

My heart is broken for all of you. Words can't express the deep sorrow I feel. Please know that my prayers and thoughts are with all of you.
