Not sure what to say?

Dana: I am very sorry for your loss. I can't imagine how you must be feeling, but know that the body and mind puts you on "automatic pilot" for as long as you need. Take care of yourself and be patient.
Sue

Dear Dana,
We were shocked and sadden to hear of Greg's passing. He always had a smile and up-beat personality. Even though we didn't see him often, we could always find something to talk about. He will be greatly missed. With deepest sympathy, Don & Diane Jakel

Dear Dana and family,

We are so sorry to hear about Greg's accident. I know he was a wonderful husband, father and teacher and will be greatly missed.

We are sorry we no longer live in Kalamazoo and thus could not attend the funeral.

We will keep you and your family in our thoughts and prayers,

Deepest Sympathy,
Clark and Judy Hurlbert

Dana and family:

My thought & prayers are with all of you during this time of hardship.

Greg and Dana were like parents to me; Johnny and Maggie were like a brother and sister. Most all of my memories as a child include your family, in the old neighborhood. I mostly remember Greg cross country skiing around the neighborhood and all the kids swimming in the pool, and your dog, Nue. I am sorry to have been reunited in this way, but I was glad to see everyone. I miss you guys and hope to see you again soon. Sorry for your loss - it was a shock to everyone!

I send my deepest sympathy to Mr. Walters' family. Mr. Walters was one of my favorate teachers many years ago at Parchment Middle School. He usually had a smile on his face, and with a nod of his head, you recieved a warm "Hello." I also remember having to memorize the Gettysburg address in eighth grade. To this day I can still remember the first six lines. Mr. Walters was an intresting, fun, and fair teacher. He will be sadly missed.

I had Greg as my 6th grade homeroom teacher in 1985-86, and also as a football coach in high school. The thing I remember most about him is that he always had something nice to say about someone, and he always had his pineapple (I think) lifesavors. My deepest simpathy goes out to his family.

I will always remember Mr. Walters as the first teacher to give me a C. He never cut me any slack and I couldn't worm my way out of anything in his class. Tough teacher but taught me a valuable lesson, you have to work hard if you want to acheive.

my fiance and I were students of Mr. walters. He was a wonderful teacher and wonderful man. He was the first to introduce me to skiing and helped me through the hard times that are middle school. I will always remember what a wonderful man he was to me and all of his students. He will live on in our hearts. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. May God bless you always.
