Not sure what to say?

Dearest Barbara,
I was trying to locate your contact information because of an article in last Sunday's New York Times that I wanted to share with you. It brought back fond memories of our girlhood days together, and I wanted to reach out to you after a hiatus of over 16 years. I Googled your name, and unfortunately, I learned that your beloved son Greg had passed away. I would like to extend my deepest sympathies to you, Gary, Loren and your entire family. Although we have not been in...

Hello Sweetheart

It's only a few days before the three month anniversary of your leaving us. In some ways it seems so much longer. I miss talking to you so much. I miss our (almost nightly) telephone calls when we would discuss the day or an episode of "24" or a new accompishment of Justin or just get into our crazy "far out" talks. I miss cooking for you and seeing your face when you were gobbling down what I made and enjoying it so much. I miss hearing you say how you...

Greg was like a brother to both of us. He brought more entertainment, amusement, spirituality and love into our lives than anyone could ever imagine. Life will never be the same. Greg, rest assured that we will always be here for Barb, Justin and A.J. We miss you so much and will forever keep you in our hearts and memories.

Dear Greg,
You will always have a special place in my heart. For, above all, you possessed the one quality that means the most to me. And that quality is "kindness". I will never forget the kindness you showed to Uncle Al and myself all during his illness even though you, yourself were going through your own terrible plight. I will never forget all your calls, letters, books and encouragement you gave us. Or how you never ended a single call without first saying "I love you". Well,...

Dear family,

I was very saddened to learn of Greg's passing.

From the moment I met him 10 yrs. ago (when he was visiting Joyce and Al) at my Passover seder, it was as if I always knew him. He just fit right in, and his presence was felt from the moment he entered. His gentle manner and sweet smile while holding my granddaughter and talking to her made him shine in my eyes. He was so kind and sincere and it was quite clear to me that Greg was a special young man. As...

A FAREWELL TRIBUTE TO GREG WOHRLE
by Connie LaGala

Words cannot describe the depth of our sorrow that we share with all of you. My family and I have known Greg for approximately 20 years. Greg and our two sons, Dean and Keith attended PC School and the UF together. They participated in their high school football program and all three boys were inducted in PC's Athletic Hall of Fame in l966. They were excellent athletes! We had many wonderful times together and the many...

I am so sorry to hear about Greg. I knew him at Pine Crest and will always remember his great smile and the twinkle in his eye. My heart goes out to his family during this diffiult time.

I was deeply saddened when I was notified via email that Greg had passed on. I suppose I was highly optimistic that Greg would beat this thing like he did before. It saddens me that we will not get to spend another new year’s eve together or go on a another road trip together or even see another football game together. We will all miss the good times we had.
I had the privilege of knowing Greg both in high school and college at UF. It is impossible to think about all the good times we...
