Not sure what to say?

Thank you Steve! My Mom was a very special person for sure! I appreciate your memories of her!

I was sad to hear of the passing of this great woman. I worked with her in Mobile in the 1980s, we had some of the most spirited discussions on politics, education, life, faith, and sometimes just nonsense for fun, her sense of humor and intelligence are things I remember most, the world is a lesser place with her leaving it. I'm sure she's giving advice to Saint Peter on some issue right now lol. She'll always be missed.

Condolences to Gretchen's family. She will be missed by many. I worked with her in the coast guard. I wish I had understood what she was trying to say back then. I still probably wouldn't have listened, but she was right. Gretchen was a great friend and will be missed by all.

"Go rest high on that mountain for we know your work on earth is done". Although I did not see you much in the past few years I remember all the early days, you were always full of like and a true joy to be around, I can only hope that I could bring people a small portion of laughter that you brought to people, rest easy and kiss your mom and your aunt Deal (grandmaw Winchester) you will missed upon this earth. love you!!!!

May angels bear thee to thy rest....

Gretchen was one of the finest women I have ever had the privilege of knowing.A truly genuine, kind, and unique person. The world is much less brighter place without Gretchen in it. She shines as brightly as the stars now, and rests in the arms of God.
My prayers and condolences go out to the entire family with much love. I will remember her in prayer at mass.

Gretchen I will miss you so much. Our family is so amazing and special. What wonderful memories we have but things won't be the same without you. You will always be remembered in the storytellings we are so famous for!!!! Rest in peace my beautiful Gretchen.

Monie Brunson Russo, daugter of Irma Grace French, will always remember the fun times going to Aunt Theresa's. Gretchen made me laugh all the time. the memories of her will always be of love, Rest in Peace .

mom, you were the best person I've ever known and my best friend, I celebrate you life and truly morn the world's loss. I love you so much

Oh Georgia, if only there were something I could say. Your mother was an amazing woman; you see a lot of her in you. And while she herself may no longer be here, her spirit lives on in you and the rest of her family. I know so little about her, so I want to hear some stories! I'm sure she had some amazing tales. I love you guys, and keep her memory alive. Because if her memory lives on, she will never really leave.
