I had the pleasure of meeting Gretchen through my work, and assisted her with some technology woes. She was such a delightful woman, and the world is surely dimmer for her passing.

Gretchen was a wonderful friend and neighbor who will be greatly missed. Shortly after moving in next door, Gretchen became dedicated to Jeanne's health issues and was always available to be with her. She was not only a comfort to Jeanne, but also graciously opened her lovely home to us, and to our grandchildren. So sorry to hear this. My wife, Marilyn McClory, worked with "Gretch" on several HCSC Marketing Conferences. They had a great time and became friends. Marilyn passed away last year, but I'm sure that they have gotten together to plan the biggest conference of all. Gretchen was a wonderful person and will be missed. Condolences to her entire family.

While I haven't seen Gretchen in almost 40 years, I well remember what a terrific person she was as a fellow employee of the former Trans Union Corporation. She was high-spirited and full of life and always interested in helping her colleagues. When she heard that I had purchased a house in Deerfield, she popped over with two elegant brass candlesticks to grace the fireplace base -- that's the sort of person she was.
