Gretchen and her family were friends of my family when we were growing up in the small town of Lowell and attending Lowell High School and the Methodist Church together. I remember her as a vivacious young lady, well-liked by everyone. Saddened to learn of her passing.

Gretchen was 2 years behind me at 400-student Lowell (Michigan) High School, where I graduated in 1960. A town of 2000 people just 15 miles east of Grand Rapids.

I am so sorry to hear that Aunt Gretchen has passed. I have many great memories of playing at her house in Allendale when I was a child. To this day, each time I pass that area on Lake Michigan Drive, my heart fills with fond memories. My thoughts and prayers will be with all of those who will miss her dearly.

Nick and Lori - my deepest sympathy. Your mom bringing a casserole to welcome us to the Trillium Lane neighborhood is one of many great memories as our time as neighbors including her great care of Jeff when he was little and I was working. I'm sorry we lost touch over the years.

My deepest sympathy upon hearing of Gretchen's passing. Although I haven't seen Gretchen in many years I have very fond memories of her in high school. My thoughts and prayers to the family.

Gretchen was one of my very best friends for many many years. She was the sister I never had. We laughed and cried together so many times I could not begin to count them. I will miss her forever.

In loving memory of a wonderful person. We will love you and miss you always.
