Not sure what to say?

In re-reading my March 21, 2013 comments on this site, I couldn't express myself any better today. Gretchen cared about our community. In whatever capacity, we need more Gretchens.

Dear Gary and family,
Gretchen and I were friends all through elementary school and caught up with our news on and off over the years. I am so sorry to read this now so many months later. Gretchen had the most positive attitude and she loved her family so deeply. My thoughts go out to all of you.

I met Gretchen many years ago in her capacity as a reporter for the Daily Local News. Either on her own volition or due to my phone call, she would write about the latest happenings in Paoli. She was always pleasant, professional and a fine writer. She will be missed by her fellow employees and by those in the communities she served.

I worked with Gretchen many years ago when I was as an intern for the Daily Local. I remember her warm, friendly smile and how proudly she spoke about her children and family. I am so sorry for your loss. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Even though I didn't know her on a personal level I always felt she was truly an asset to her industry and specifically to the Daily Local News. I always had the upmost respect for her and I always looked forward to reading her articles.

May God Bless you and give you strength to deal with your deep...
