Not sure what to say?

My heartfelt condolences to Lisa, Debbie, Ted and to your families. Gret always spoke of all of you with such love and pride!

As you know, your mother was an amazing woman. Such a wonderful mix of warmth and strength! Spunky was the word my daughter used to describe her, and I think Gret would have liked that! What I know for sure is that she blessed me with her laughter, her hugs and a friendship that spanned thirty years. I will miss her.

Deb and Family,

We are saddened at the passing of your Mom. Know that you are in our thoughts and prayers back here in Rhode Island.

I am truly blessed to be able to have called Gret a friend. I had the pleasure of working with her at the Y and sharing our girls night out on numerous occasions. She helped me through a lot of difficult times without even knowing. She will be greatly missed. This world was a better place because of her. My heart goes out to the family. Cherish your memories. I know I will cherish mine. LUV U Gret.

Forever grateful that i was fortunate enough to have worked so many years with Gretchen. What a wonder mentor, loving friend and surigate grandmother to my children she was. I am a better person for knowing her. She was loved by so many and an inspiration to even more.

Gretchen, on the other hand, will leave a mark in the lives of those that knew her. She never met a stranger and greeted everyone with that same loving smile. She was the same every day. Cancer did not defeat nor hold her back. She fought the fight courageously. I pray that God will bless her family and give them a peace and comfort that only God can...
