Not sure what to say?

Mom, it's been a year now and I miss you more than ever. Keep looking out for all of us, your children and grandchildren, as you did in your life. You had such a special relationship with God in your life, that I know you still do, so please have Him send His special grace on those who love and miss you.

Your loving daughter, Nancy

My thoughts and prayers are with you. Aunt Gretchen is a glowing spirit, brilliant in life and radiant in memory. Much love.

The piece below reminded me so much of my beloved Aunt Gretchen and the love she has for all her family.

Let us never forget to pray TO her for she can do ever so much more for us now in heaven than she could ever do for us while on this earth, because she now sees and touches the very face of God every instant.

Aunt Gretchen, pray for us!

Your oldest loving nephew,

Joseph
(Brother Henry Werner, F.S.C.)

Mrs. Gretchen was the sweetest lady. All of us here at the credit union will miss her dearly. We will keep you in our thoughts and in our prayers.

Mrs. Gretchen will be very missed by all of the employees of Neighbors Federal Credit Union formerly BR Teachers on Airline Hwy.
She came to visit and talk with us quite often. We all welcomed her the moment she came in the door.
My heart goes out to all of her family and other friends.
Sincerely, Amber Melancon

Jimmy wasn't kidding when he said if we were'nt at our own houses we were at the Werner's on Westwood Ave. We were blessed to have each other and our precious Mom's and Dad's. Love to you all, Margaret

Thanks to all who have shared their thoughts here. One lighter memory for me was Mom's use of the English language. My favorite phrase she spoke to us when we were difficult teens was: "Don't look at me in that tone of voice."

MS. GRETCHEN, YOU WERE A WONDERFUL NEIGHBOR AND FRIEND. WE WILL TRULY MISS YOU. YOUR PRECIOUS FAMILY WILL BE IN OUR PRAYERS DURING THIS TIME OF GRIEF.
WITH LOVE,
