Not sure what to say?

My very deepest sympathy to Gretl's family. Gretl was a dear and loving friend to everyone she met. She offered to help me with our daughters' Brownie troop many years ago, and we have been fast friends ever since. I'll miss sharing lunch, laughter and tears with Gretl, as she was truly a "one of a kind" and very special and
compassionate person, who added a lot of joy and fun to lives of everyone lucky enough to know her.
Loving thoughts and prayers are with her family.

BOTH YOUR MOM AND DAD WERE WONDERFUL
PEOPLE AND ALWAYS A PLEASURE TO SPEND TIME WITH. GOD BLESS AND MAY ALL YOUR PLEASANT MEMORIES OF THEM GIVE YOU THE STRENGTH TO GET YOU THROUGH THIS DIFFICULT TIME.

Gretl was a vibrant woman and devoted mother to Sharon, Karen and Bonnie. She will be missed, but not forgotten, as she leaves behind an incredibly loving family, many memories of her feistyness and folly, and a host of wonderful baked good recipes for others to enjoy. -- A friend of her daughter Karen

My thoughts and sympathies are with all of you. I have a lot of wonderful memories of both of your parents and how warm and wonderful they were to me and all of our friends. It's so hard to believe how much time has passed, and how much we will continue to be motivated and inspired by our parents. Love, Eric

My deepest sympathies. Gretl had such a wonderful heart. Since my mother worked, when there was bad weather, Gretl would drive by McClure and give me a ride home, so I wouldn't have to walk home in the freezing snow & rain. It was so nice that she would remember me in bad weather, and pick me up. I will never forget the delicious bread she made for us. I feel very fortunate that my Mom was Gretl's friend, so that I had the opportunity know such an amazing woman.
