Not sure what to say?

Bee and Wally, dear friends during Bee's year at the Royal Veterinary School in Stockholm and many, many good times thereafter in Minnesota.
Bee was a great lady!
Loren and Melody(a small baby last I saw you), how Bee loved you!
You take good care!
Linda

My dear dear Bee - I am so grateful that I was able to come and help celebrate your life with your friends and colleagues at the Sigma Delta Epsilon award banquet -Though we talked several times after that - I never guessed that would be the last hug - The day you passed away - I had my second stroke in three months -- Loren - my heart is with you and I'll be there as soon as I can travel -- I'm home from the hospital but I can still here Bee's voice in my dreams -- When I walked into the...

I met Bee when I interviewed her for the Minnesota Historical Society's Minnesota's Greatest Generation project. She was in my dad's class at the Vet College (1952), and filled in many gaps in my dad's story about those years in school. It was a privilege and a joy to know Bee, and I and my two Boston terriers (known to Bee and Lauren as "The Hooligans") will miss our visits very much.

Bee is my Great Aunt and I miss her dearly. Though as I sit here on her couch after having dinner with Lauren. I think of the great life she has lived. I loved listening to her tell stories about our family, her mother’s stitch work, how her mother and father built their house in 1933 that still stands today in Montana, how she and her sister would go for rides on their horses, the great times she had with Wally Hanlon, the numerous stories of her work and her students, and most of all her...

I met Bee in the 1990s during my days at Norwest/Wells Fargo. I so enjoyed spending time with Bee. She was bright and had wonderful stories to share, especially of her work at the Univ of Minnesota. We both loved animals, so there was much to discuss. Bee will be missed by many and especially by Lauren, whom she dearly loved and who helped her so much.

Contemporary scientists stand on the shoulders of those that have blazed the path before them. Dr. Hanlon boldly blazed a path where precious few female scientists had previously been able to go. She humbly and professionally, made her way up various scientific and academic echelons, achieving accolades in her own right. She was a wonderful mentor and teacher, influencing the lives and careers of many rising students.
I only met Bee in the last couple of years, but she...

I first met Dr. Hanlon as a veterinary student at the U of M in the summer of 1972 when I was working as a work study student in the large animal pharmacy between my freshman and sophomore year in vet school. Subsequently I actually met my future bride in radiology where she was also a work study student but but in radiology as a typist. That additional connection to radiology made life long friendships with the faculty and staff in radiology. Bee impressed me as an outstanding radiologist,...

We were fortunate to meet Bee. She was like a grandmother to us, so kind and caring. Bee was an inspiration to our 11 year old daughter, who loved to talk with her about her experiences with farm animals at the U of M. We will miss her dearly.

To my good friend. I will miss your funny emails, and sage advice. For those of us who were privileged to be your friend, me for forty years, what an inspiration you were. Down-to-earth practicality with the highest integrity. Bee, May you be enjoying that sky camp, riding horses ..and reading a few x-rays and having a few dogs trailing behind...you haven't done that for awhile.
