Grover Everett

I knew Grover and Carolyn when they lived in Venice FL. My husband and I plus a small group of friends rode bikes and kayaked together. I was always amazed at Grover's perseverance in riding his bike for miles through the Myakka River Preserve on the trails with GPS to guide him. We were all surprised when he had to have a quintuple bypass. That did not stop him as he was out walking and biking in no time. He was kind and a good friend.

Having also retired in Tucson from Lawrence, we were fortunate to have Grover and Carolyn here. Some good times together. They are both missed.
