Not sure what to say?

Grover will always be remembered as an early musical influence of mine. I watched him every day on television. He also had great taste in guitars. Robert Hover

Sorry this is so late, but I would like to say that I remember watching Grover Jackson on TV everyday after school on "Western Jamboree", that was shown live on Tacoma's Channel 13 in the early 1960s. Along with bandmates Cole Shelton, "Shotgun" Red Hildreth and Ray "Chubby" Howard, it was a great learning experience. I learned how to play "Wildwood Flower" Grover's way, and still do it his way, plus he had great taste in guitars. He was an early influence and I'll always remember...

I just todat found out today about Grovers passing.Even though I was not what I would call a close friend of Grover,he was a very big part in my life as a guitar player. I first met him when I was 13 over in Tacoma when we played on their set on a show called stairway to stardom..god bless Grover...Joe Levack

Sincere condolences to all the family.
I never knew Grover but I enjoyed reading about his radio career in the bio book that I found on the Ventures web site. He had a big part in launching the band's career. I heard about this tragedy from Venture Don, who attended the funeral.

Grover,
What a wonderful man, who touched so many lifes with your love and your music.
A special gift you gave by sharing this with us. So we could all have so many moments that will be everlasting memories.
For me you and your band played at my wedding making that day perfect.
You also played at many of my mothers western parties.
How lucky we are that you were here to share these times with us. As these treasured moments will forever be in our hearts as you will be
May God...

Grover was a fun guy to jam with.
he will be missed.

With the passing of Grover it will leave a bunch of wishes that will never come true. I will always be missing his pretty smile and his kind words, his warm hello will ring in my memories. He had such a sweet laugh.
I will be looking forward to seeing him again when we are called home to sing and dance with the angels. I know there will be country music up there now.
Love and hugs
Melanie

Aunt Helen and family,
Although we have not seen all of you in many years, we have many fond memories of Uncle Grover, especially when he came to visit Little granny. Music would fill her house in the evenings and my daughter Alissa would be wooed to sleep by the music of a most special great uncle. We will keep you in our thoughts and prayers. Love to you all.

Dear Helen & Family,
We feel we have gotten to know Grover a little from stories Paul has shared with us. We only saw him a couple of times but felt what a special man he was. We will be praying for your family.
