Not sure what to say?

Robertine, Kathy and Joyce...In one sense, I was saddened to hear of Grover's passing as he will be missed by many people. However, in another sense I was happy to hear of his going to be with our Lord. He is out of pain and in a much better place. I pray that each of you is comforted by your faith during this challenging time. May the Lord be with you each and every day as you deal with your loss.

Robertine and girls, we are truly sorry to hear of the passing of Grover. It's been a long time since we have seen you or him but the memories of the Fiddle and Banjo club live on within each one of us. Mama and daddy instilled the love and courage to draw strength from the Lord during times like these. And we rejoice with you, as I'm sure mama and daddy were waiting in Heaven for him and they are "pickin and grinnin" as I type this.

God bless you
The daughters of Jim and...

My sincere sympathies for your loss. My father, Charles C. Smith, considered Mr. Thomas one of his best friends ever since their school days in Floyd. I read the obituary to Daddy over the phone. He wishes he could have made it to the visitation and funeral. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.

We are praying for you all. May God's peace and comfort surround you and grant you strength that comes only from Him.
