I worked with Lupe at the old V.E.T.S. (VVA Chapter 31) office in the Medical Arts Building in downtown Muskegon. So sorry to learn of his passing. My condolences to the family and friends.

He had the biggest heart of anybody I knew he was a combat veteran and he paid dearly for it but he was brother my friend my confident many nights he would call me to fix his wheelchair or get his internet restarted and I would be there in a flash because I knew no matter what I did for him I could never repay him as much as he helped me when my wife passed he was there for me and I will never for get it I love you Lupe Semper Fidelis

I met Lupe many years ago when I was a member of Vietnam Veterans of Muskegon, Chapter 31. I am saddened to hear of his passing. I haven't seen him in many years. Not only was he a proud Marine, but he was a wonderful human being. He wouldn't hesitate to help anyone in need, and did a lot for local veterans. He really was one of the good ones. I met Lupe many years ago when he became one of our customers at Flowers by Ray and Sharon. He was such an interesting man to talk with and get to know. Then, as a member of Northside Lions Club, we formed a great friendship, and I always enjoyed his sense of humor. It was an honor to call him my friend. He was such a giver to everyone he knew. Till we meet again.

Lupe and his family lived in the big house on delano and with our other guys on the street, there were many good times. Many fond memories. You will be missed..
